BLACK PUDDING NIGHT: Cratloe G.A.A. Club are holding their annual black pudding night on this Saturday at Setrights. The event is being organised by local Councillor John Crowe.

MINOR CLUB FUN QUIZ: Cratloe minor club will hold their twenty fifth annual fun table quiz in Setrights on this Tuesday night at 8.30pm with prizes for adults, secondary school and primary school pupils. Quiz master will be Jim Enright and a very enjoyable night is expected.

SIDELINE VIEW: The popular Clare FM Radio programme featured Cratloe G.A.A. Club last week. Jack Chaplin, Siobhan O’Gorman, Jody O’Connor and Jim Enright represented the club and spoke about the many achievements and issues involved in the day to day running of a club.

RECENT DEATH: Sympathy is extended to Mary Manly, Gallows Hill on the death of her mother.

ALL IRELAND CAMOGIE MEDAL: Congratulations are extended to Sharon Cunningham, Ashling Court who was part of the Laurel Hill Convent team which won the All Ireland Schools camogie on Saturday.

GROTTO RESTORATION: Work on the Grotto Restoration is now almost completed and it will be ready for the dawn Mass at 6am on Easter Sunday. It is now looking in a very fine condition and a financial statement of expenditure will shortly be published.

COUNTY PLOUGHING CHAMPIONSHIP: The Clare County Ploughing championship takes place on Sunday, March 24 on the Hannon family farm in Newmarket-on-Fergus at 12 noon.
