CARDS: The winners at last week’s cards with 10 games were: Margaret O’Regan and Maureen Mulcahy, second with 8 games were Mike Cronin and Johnny Ward. CLUB DEVELOPMENT DRAW: On Wednesday night last in Na Piarsaigh Clubhouse, Ann Collins was presented with her €15,000 winner’s cheque. Our other winners were: Johnny O’Sullivan, Ballycommane and Tournafulla Camogie Club who each won €250. The next draw will take place in the Old Stand in Shanagolden on Friday, April 5.
WHITE COLLAR BOXING: The White Collar Boxing, the brawl in the hall will take place in Fr. Casey’s Sports Complex in Abbeyfeale on this Saturday night, March 23, when Fr. Casey’s G.A.A. Club will take on Mountcollins in what promises to be a mouth watering contest. Doors open at 8pm. Your support would be appreciated.
UNDER-21: The under-21 team of Allaghaun Gaels just got the better of a lively Granagh/Ballingarry, Feenagh/Kilmeedy combination in an entertaining encounter at Knockaderry on Saturday evening last. With two games remaining the Gaels are on course to reach the West A final.
TOURNAFULLA 5K: With just over a week to go entries have been pouring in for the inaugural Tournafulla 5km road race and non-competitive walk, which will be held in the village of Tournafulla on Sunday March 31. The walk begins at 12.30pm with the A race off at 1pm.
