KNOCKAINEY N.S PARENTS ASSOCIATION: are holding their annual cake sale on Easter Sunday after 11am Mass in Knockainey community centre .If anyone wishes to donate home baking please drop to the hall before Mass your support would be most appreciated

KNOCKAINEY TIDY TOWNS:towns are having an Easter Hamper draw in Moloney’s bar on Easter Sunday night. A line costs €2 and we ask your support. All committee member have cards if you wish to buy a line. We have three fantastic hampers to be won.

MUSICAL EVENING FOR THE GATHERING:The first rehearsal for the musical evening as part of the Gathering in June, will take place in the Community Centre at 8:30pm on Friday March 22nd. All Performers are asked to attend.

LOUGH GUR AMATEUR DRAMATIC SOCIETY: presents “Bookworms” on March 22nd, 23rd & 24th. Preview on Thursday March 21st. The next performance by Lough Gur Amateur Dramatic Society will be “Bookworms” - this is the sequel to the very popular “Many Happy Returns” which was staged last year and many will remember it as Santa coming down the chimney. Bookworms is all about a book club and the motto is “Let’s try to show everyone that, recession or no recession, we are contented and happy...” spoken by book club Hostess Ann. Bookworms turns a sentimental eye to post Celtic Tiger Ireland and its bankrupt middle classes. Venue: Honey Fitz’ Theatre Tickets: EUR10.00

KNOCKAINEY AFC TABLE QUIZ: Knockainey AFC are hosting a fundraising Table Quiz on Thursday 28th March in Moloney’s Bar, Knockainey at 9.30pm. Table of four €20, a great night’s entertainment guaranteed with lots of spot prizes and fun on the night. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

KNOCKAINEY AFC LOTTO:There was no winner of the lotto last week which was held in Jack Lynch’s bar, Knockainey last Friday night. The numbers drawn were 1, 3, 11 and 15. CHARITY RIDE / FUN WALK: Boskill Caherconlish Equestrian Trekking Centre are hosting our second charity ride/fun walk this year on the 31st of March Easter Sunday.Walkers starting point is at Caherconlish church @ 1.30pm or Inch St.Laurence @ 2.00pm, Riders meet at Boskill @ 1.00pm.This year the parish is involved and walkers are invited to come along,beautiful landscape surrounding for riders and walkers to see.Beginners , novice and professionals are all welcome to come.This year it is in aid of Caherconlish/Caherline Funds & Cappamore day care centre / Vinmore House.Children or Adults can be lead if needed by staff of Caherconlish Equestrian Centre.I would highly appreciate if you and your parish could advertise this brilliant day out in ye’re weekly notes or in ye’re local church.Sponser Cards are available for riders.
