Fr Tom Hurley, Templeglantine officiated at the marriage ceremony. The wedding reception took place afterwards in the Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare. Mary Ann is daughter of Patsy and Anjo Mulcahy, Meenoline AND Karl is son of Noel and Margaret O’Kelly, Ballingarry. CÚRSAÍ EAGLAISE: Daily mass times for the remainder of this week are as follows, Wednesday and Friday at 6.30pm at 9.30am on Thursday and at 11.00pm on Saturday. The month’s mind mass for the late Danny Duggan will be on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm. The anniversary mass for Nora O’Reilly will be celebrated on Saturday at 11.00am, for Bee and Dónal Sheehan on Saturday evening at 6.00pm and for Patrick Larry Murphy on Sunday at 10.30am. Beannacht Dé ar anamacha na marbh.

COMHALTAS: The regular weekly music classes will resume again on Monday evening next March 25. The Co. Limerick Scoil Fonn agus Amhrán day will take place at Manister on Sunday April 7th and any of our branch members interested in attending are asked to hand in names at the next class. The day consists of workshops in slow air playing and singing. The SCT exams will take place locally over four days commencing on Saturday next . All candidates should ensure they have their correct times for the exams. Branch musicians participated in various traditional music events and sessions over the festive weekend. The senior céilí band provided entertainment prior to the parade in Caisleán Nua.

FÉILE NÁISIÚNTA: Many from the locality visited the parade in Abbeyfeale on Lá ‘le Pádraig and the parade in Newcastle West on Monday. Both events were very enjoyable and well attended. Míle buíochas do ghach éinne a thug sintús ag an mbailiúchan Lá ‘le Pádraig. Bhí ceol Gaelach le clos ag an aifreann tráthnóna Dé Sathairn agus arís ar an Domhnach.

FARMERS MEETING: A follow up meeting of concerned farmers on CAP reform will be held at the Railway Bar Abbeyfeale on Monday March 25th at 9pm. All are welcome

PARENTS COUNCIL: There will be an Easter Disco on Easter Monday 1st April next, 7 – 9, organised by the National School Parents Council. The disco will take place in the Devon Inn and admission is Free with some spot prizes on the night. All children to be accompanied by a parent/guardian and everyone is welcome.
