The Holman Lee agency have been working with the Mallow College of Design and Tailoring for over 20 years and it was a very special event this year as it was dedicated to the memory of the late John McNamara
I LOVE listening to inspiring women speak about their experiences so I was thrilled to get the opportunity to share my own thoughts at the International Regional Women in Business Networking event. Hosted in the Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, it was a very positive and inspiring afternoon with some fabulous speakers such as Dr Ciara Kelly known for her role on RTE’s Operation Transformation.

It was a pleasure for me to talk to such inspiring women about my own business and career path. The beauty of networking is the variety of speakers from all walks of life and varied businesses.

The event was organised by the local Enterprise Office Women in Business Network.

IF there is one festival that I would really like to see continue it is the really magical Culture and Chips. Sadly I missed the opening night but a group of us made it to the Cabaret Des Frites which was really a great night. The Spiegeltent has a magical atmosphere and everyone I know who attended the festival thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m already looking forward to next year.

Well done to everyone involved!

WE must be over 20 years working on the Mallow College of Design and Tailoring end of year fashion showcase. This year was extra special as the founder of the college Mary Cashman, who was a very good colleague of the late designer John McNamara - who sadly passed away earlier this year - dedicated the show to John. It was a very special moment. The event was attended by 650 people at the Silver Springs Hotel in Cork.
