I headed to Dublin once again last week for the Oxendales Summer Collection 2015 launch. The event was held in No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place, a beautiful Georgian building.

My job was to host the fashion evening alongside models such as Vivien Connolly, Beverley Keegan, Karina Grant who in their day were never off the front covers of the nation’s magazines. This season sees the launch of Lorraine Kelly’s, of ITV fame, first venture into the world of fashion design. My good friend and colleague Brenda O’Sullivan, Oxendales Country Director, looked fabulous on the night in a beautiful car coat, black and white chequered
dress.

All the fashion pack were out in force as were Ireland AM who filmed the event.

During the week I went to the Clarion Hotel, to the Limerick Person of the Year 2014 Awards.

The 12 amazing Persons of the Month have all made great contributions to Limerick life over the past year. The special guest at this year’s ceremony was rugby legend Tony Ward who was so humble and over the moon after being awarded with the Honorary Limerick Person Award.

I myself was delighted to have been at the prestigious event and to present the Person of the Year Award to the incredible boxer Andy Lee. It was a wonderful event for the city and congratulations to the sponsors the Clarion Hotel, Limerick Leader and the media agency Southern.
