A GREAT night of fun, glitz and glamour is on the timetable at John the Baptist Community School in Hospital on October 1 when they host their first ever gala fashion show.

A GREAT night of fun, glitz and glamour is on the timetable at John the Baptist Community School in Hospital on October 1 when they host their first ever gala fashion show.

The extravaganza will be held in their fantastic community hall in the school, which I believe is going to be transformed for the evening.

Guests can enjoy a pre-reception at 7pm with a complimentary glass of champagne and canapes and they can also take a stroll around the foyer where local businesses and cottage craft industries will display their products for sale.

I can promise you this it’s going to be a great night of style and fashion where you will enjoy the designs of some of the top fashion houses in the
region.

There is also an opportunity to win fabulous spot prizes on the night including a best dressed lady prize and a door
prize.

This is a fundraiser for the school and the Holman Lee models will be joined on the ramp by students, parents and staff from John the Baptist school. Tickets are €20 and are on sale from the school at 061 383283. With every ticket purchased you will receive a €5 gift voucher for Shaws. I’m looking forward to seeing you all on the night!

HOW exciting is it to see that Downton Abbey is back! Sadly, it is for the last time after six years on our screens.

The TV3 series is loved globally, especially by Irish viewers.

The style and fashion of the Crawley family and their friends never ceases to amaze me! You might have spotted myself and our own lovely Leanne Moore on the advert before the show on TV3 on Tuesday night.

We were both delighted to be involved and were dressed in clothes from Oxendales.

The show will air every Wednesday night from now on at 9.30pm until Christmas.

I hope you enjoy it!
