The LSAD Graduate Fashion Show was a real success story for Limerick. I joined John McNamara, RTEs Mary Kennedy, Edwina Nyhan and Fergal McGrath of Bord Gais Networks at the show which was hosted in the Milk Market.Picture: Press 22
WHAT a very stylish crowd attended the annual Limerick School of Art and Design, LIT, Graduate Fashion Show 2014 which took place in the Milk Market. A total of 27 final-year students showcased their awe-inspiring collections at the event, which was sponsored by Bord Gáis Networks.

Renowned Irish fashion designer Sharon Wauchob flew in especially for the event to showcase her latest collection, which I really enjoyed.

Congratulations to all involved in what was a truly great event in Limerick.

LAST week I headed to the Hibernian Club in St Stephen’s Green for the 5th Annual Irish Fashion Exposure Spring Summer 2014 produced by the fabulous Aisling Kilduff from the Design Centre in Powerscourt Town Centre. There was a very fashionable Limerick audience and it is always great to catch up with them. Looking sensational was Liz O’Donnell, Ann Marie McManus, and Elaine Bennett to mention but a few.

There were spectacular collections from Irish designers including our own Synan O’Mahony. But I think it was Jean Byrne, the RTE Met Eireann meteorologist who upstaged the fashionistas at a charity lunch looking very individual and quirky. It was great to see the innovation and creativity of the Irish designers which we hope to showcase again at Limerick Fashion Festival which will take place from October 23 to 26.
