WE are all still on a high after the wonderful night we enjoyed in St Mary’s Cathedral for the second Limerick International Fashion Student Awards - the centrepiece of the Limerick Style Festival.

WE are all still on a high after the wonderful night we enjoyed in St Mary’s Cathedral for the second Limerick International Fashion Student Awards - the centrepiece of the Limerick Style Festival.

The theme was ‘Can fashion be art?’ and the winner on the night was the hugely talented Juliane Kaatzsch from the University of Art and Design Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, Germany. Juliane received a fantastic prize of €10,000 presented by Liam Dwan from Brown Thomas and an internship with Frank Lyman in Canada presented by Larry Byrne. We were all delighted that Aisling Ryan from the Limerick School of Art and Design took second place.

The fabulous judging panel who did such a fantastic job included Constance Harris from the Sunday Independent, Claire Breslin from Brown Thomas, Larry Byrne from Frank Lyman, our own Synan O’Mahony, and, of course, the beautiful and very glamorous Valerie Campbell, mother of supermodel Naomi Campbell. We at the Holman Lee Agency cannot thank everyone enough for the huge success that this evening turned out to be.
