Pretty in Pink opened to a stunning sophisticated crowd of 150 supporting breast cancer awareness at historic Adare Manor, where it’s beautiful gallery was transformed into a Christmas setting.
Dr Anne Merrigan of the University Hospital Limerick delivered a wonderful speech along with Orlagh Winters a cancer survivor, who bravely told her story of battling the disease.
Much thanks go to Kay Mulcair and Marie Hoare who organised the Pretty In Pink event. Kay did a great job paring the show with fabulous clothes from Isobels Boutiques, K-Boutique and guest designer Catriona Hanley.
Pretty in Pink has raised over €30,000 in funding to date. As well Keane’s Jewellery raffled a stunning diamond and sapphire ring on the night. Sponsors of the night also included the main sponsors Adare Manor, Keanes Jewellers, The Hugh Campbell Hair Group, Rachelle Guiry Make up and Serendipity shoes.
I was recently invited to Guest MC at Norma Smurfit’s Annual Charity Lunch in aid of Angels’ Quest.
It was held in the newly opened Airfield Farm in Dundrum Dublin, which houses Overend’s Restaurant where the lunch and fashion show took place.
I have been an admirer of Norma Smurfit’s selfless charity work that she carries out year after year.
I was honoured to be involved and to give my services to this charity event.
The clothes where supplied by Olivia Danielle of Athlone and were received enthusiastically by the glamorous audience.
