Details of a significant jobs boost for Limerick are expected to be announced later today.

The IDA has confirmed that an announcement will be made by the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, at the Strand Hotel at midday.

A spokesman for the IDA said details of the announcement, such as the company or the number of jobs being created, will not be revealed prior to this afternoon’s announcement.

However, he confirmed that a significant number of jobs are likely to be created for the Limerick and Mid West Region as a result of a multi-million euro investment.

Minister Michael Noonan is also expected to attend today’s announcement along with representatives of the company.
