WE were all de-lighted for my hus-band Ger, who spearheaded the Mid-West Bridal Exhibition for the past 14 years, when he was honoured in Cork by winning The Hardys Hi Wedding Exhibition of the Year 2014
award.

RTE’s Brian Ormond and his model wife Pippa O’ Connor were MCs for the event. It was the largest and most stylish wedding awards event hosted in Munster with the most glamorous people attending from the industry.

Other Limerick winners were Dan Lawless of Lawless Flowers who won the award for The Hardys Hi Florist of the Year 2014 and the Clarion Hotel Limerick who won The Hardys Hi Limerick Wedding Hotel of 2014. It was winners all round for Limerick and we were all very
proud.

I HEADED out to Limerick Racecourse last week for The Cheltenham Roar race event on day two of The Spin Southwest Student Race day. I don’t think I have ever seen such creative style at a race meeting! The young women were so on-trend and so fashionable the way they mixed all the looks together.

The boys were all dressed impeccably in suits taking the theme from the prep boy look. Our challenge was to invite some of the students to go forward to Miss Limerick & Mister Limerick pageant and we were not disappointed with the response.

The best dressed competition and winner of Noel’s Menswear best dressed male student was Scott Sheehan from Clonakilty with the winner of the Ziaja Skincare best dressed lady competition was Louise McCarthy from Ahane.
