BALLYBROWN/CLARINA COMMUNITY GAMES: Limerick Country Community Games final in Art for Boys & Girls U8,10,12,14, & Handwriting for Boys & Girls U10 took place in Ballybrown GAA Club on Saturday, February 1, over 75 children took part. We would like to thank Ms Sharon Le Gear for giving generously of her time in tutoring all the local children in the art competition and her tips were a great source of help. Results will be announced at a later date. The Ballybrown selection for the Talent Competition took place on Saturday with over 50 wonderful & very talented children taking part in Singing, Recitation, Music and Dance. A detailed list of the winners will be on display in the Community Resource Centre later in the week. All winners will go onto represent Ballybrown/Clarina in the Limerick finals at a later date in February. We have 4 teams in Draughts going onto represent Ballybrown/Clarina in Limerick Community Games Final on Saturday, February 15 training is on in the Community Centre on Thursdays nights from 7-8pm. Well done to all taking part.

COMMUNITIES ON LINE: West Limerick Resources will run a final Communities on Line course in Newcastle West each Wednesday from February 19 to April 2 (7.30-10pm). The course will show community groups how to develop their own free website and set up a Facebook page. This is a hands-on course. On completion groups will have a fully operational website. All participants must have a sound basic knowledge of computers and be comfortable in the use of the internet, email and simple applications such as Word. Limit 2 people per group. DRAMA WORKSHOPS: West Limerick Resources will be offering a series of drama workshops across the West Limerick area this spring. The short courses will include acting, directing for stage and technical skills. Courses are free of charge and open to anyone living in the West Limerick area.
