SOCCER: Our U15s entertained Charleville on Saturday last. We made a great start when Brian O Grady goaled after 10 minutes. We went two up when Dylan Holmes played in Declan Kenny who lobbed the advancing keeper. Two up at the break we added a third when Dylan held up a long ball from the back and played in Brian who slotted home to make it 3-0. We were well on top now but things began to change as Josh Sheehan superbly saved a penalty and soon after we went down to 10 players. Charleville pulled two goals back as we faced into the last 20 minutes with our backs to the wall. However the lads defended superbly with Rian O Dea, Eamon Balfry, , Eoghan O Dea and Robbie Holmes repelling everything as we held on for a 3-2 win.
