Christmas Monster Bingo Event: Castletown / Ballyagran GAA Club are now planning another fantastic Monster Bingo event at the Charleville Park Hotel on December 11, and the prize money this time to be won is now risen to a superb €5,000!
Price of raffle books / jackpot sheets will remain the same as previous Bingo events held there, so this is really fantastic value, and just think what some of this prize money could do around Christmas time. Equally this will be a great social and enjoyable night out right around Christmas, There will also be a great raffle including spot prizes and generally a lot of fun and craic as well as we enter the season of goodwill and festive cheer. Looking forward to it already, and hope you all are as well. Senior Club A.G.M.: Our Senior club’s Annual General Meeting (A.G.M.) takes place on Saturday November 30 at 8.15 p.m. preceded by mass for deceased members in the local church at 7.30 p.m.
Congratulations to our young guns: Just want to say well done and huge congratulations to young Cian McNamara, Ben Herlihy and William White who all made the South Primary Football squad, which is a great achievement. This South team beat the East Primary Football team last Friday Evening in U.L. with a score of 4:05 to 11 points for the East, and good man Cian who started as corner forward and scored the 2nd goal. The South now go on to the final ~ called the Sarsfield cup under flood lights again in U.L. so best of luck to all 3 players involved ~ Cian, Ben and William who continue to fly the flag for Castletown Ballyagran, and will update you with result of final next week.
Collection: The annual church gate collection in aid of St. Vincent De Paul will be held on Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1. Please give generously.

Big Maggie: Some members of the active retired group went to see ‘Big Maggie’, on Thursday night in Banogue Community Hall. It was a wonderful performance produced by Mary Liston. Each member of the cast played their part to their hearts desire. Our group really enjoyed the night and some of them were winners in the raffle: Mary Cagney, Tim Cagney and Nellie Cagney. Three members also attended mass in Kilmallock on Thursday, where some of them also won in the bingo. Mass was celebrated by Fr.Fitzmaurice.
