Monaleen Parish Choir: The Parish Choir resumed rehearsals on Wednesday last. We have 31 members on the books at present: 12 sopranos, 9 altos, 4 tenors and 6 bass. However, new members are always very welcome, so lift up the phone and dial 332507(Tom Clinton), 337147(Marie Breen) or 333838(Josephine Browne). Singing in a choir is very therapeutic so come along and join the happy people! Rehearsals are held in the church on Wednesdays from 20.00 to 21.30 and we sing the Mass on the 1st. and 3rd. Sunday of every month.
Exercises for Active Older Adults: Osteofit – Exercise for strong bones and good balance. Osteofit classes restarted on Wednesday September 4 in Monaleen GAA Hall at 2pm. The class is aimed at healthy independent active older adults. It involves a warm up, followed by exercises to help prevent falls and improve balance, strength, posture and bone density as well as some flexibility and relaxation. There is no commitment from you. Castletroy CCE: Want to learn an Instrument? Want to Dance ceilí, set or steps? Would you like to learn traditional Irish singing or practice your Gaeilge?
