NANTINAN GRAVEYARD: The cleanup of Nantinan Graveyard is continuing each Monday at 6pm. Grass cutting and a general tidy up. Help would be greatly appreciated from anyone who has graves in Nantinan. The committee would like to thank all contributors to their recent collection. The amount collected was €510.

CATHOLIC GRANDPARENTS ASSOCIATION: Catherine Wiley and Maire Printer would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all who helped in any way to make the Grandparents Pilgrimage to Knock last Sunday so very special. It was a day filled with graces and blessings and a wonderful testament to the Faith of Grandparents and their families.

CRÈCHE AGM: The AGM of Cappagh Community Crèche will take place on Wednesday 16 October at 7.45pm in the Creche.

PARISH HISTORIES: A book on the history of all the parishes in the Diocese will be available to purchase shortly. Cappagh are getting 100 copies of this book. This book is a once off publication and will cost €20, normally would retail at €35. To secure a copy of this publication, please leave your name into the sacristy with €20. Please bear in mind that there is only 100 copies for Cappagh. This book would be a lovely Christmas present.

LIVING WITH SUICIDE: Living with Suicide Day Lough Derg, Wednesday 25th September. A day dedicated to anyone who has been affected by suicide, including those who minister and provide support. It is a guided day with three expert speakers as well as time for peaceful reflection and prayer on the Island. LOUGH DERG RETREATS: Lough Derg One Day Retreats have recommenced a guided day of prayer, reflection and renewal. The morning includes Rosary and Way of the Cross as well as Prayers of Intercession and Healing of Memories. SOCIAL CLUB: The Alzheimer Society of Ireland hold a Social Club for people with dementia and their carer, in a supported environment, which takes place each Tuesday morning in the Woodsfield House Hotel, between 11am and 1pm.
