BOOK MARKET:: Every second Sunday a book market will be held in Herbertstown hall after Sunday Mass. Proceeds to the hall fund. Contact Cyril at 085 751 6500 for collection of books.

DEATH: Herbertstown mourned the passing of Maureen Hogan, Herbertstown last week end. Maureen a lady much respected in the locality died in Ard na Ri nursing home and her funeral Mass was in Herbertstown church and interment in Cahercorney cemetery. She spent many years as organist in the church and loved animals and poetry. She is survived by her sister Josephine, brother Paddy and relatives. .
