Askeaton GAA lotto draw: the jackpot was now won. The numbers drawn were 7, 14, 20 and 24. The lucky dip winners were Carmel Ryan, Trisha Kelly, Peggy Hurley, Tom Corrigan. Promoters prize Hali Ryan. Next weeks jackpot is€8,700 and the venue is Cagney’s.

SOCIETY OF ST VINCENT DE PAUL: the quarterly church gate collection on behalf of the Society of St Vincent de Paul will be held on Saturday and Sunday July 13 and 14.

PTAA: The annual Pioneer outing to Killarney, visiting Muckross traditional farms on Saturday July 27. Coach departs East Square at 9.30am. Bookings to Breda Kelly on or before this Friday July 12.

DESMOND COMPLEX: Empowering the community to the parishioners of Askeationi/Ballysteen Parish. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your very generous support of our recent in aid of the Desmond Complex. The total amount collected was €270.

ASKEATON/BALLYSTEEN BORD NA NOG NOTES: Askeaton /Ballysteen will hold their annual Cul Camp from Monday August 12 to Friday August 16.
The Cul Camp is for children from six to 13 years. The Cul Camp helps children learn GAA skills in a fund fun child friendly environment. Places can be booked online at www.kelloggsculcamp.ie or ask team managers for further details.

CLOTHES COLLECTION: Askeaton/Ballysteen Bord na nOg and Askeation GAA are doing a joint fundraiser ono August 16. It will be a cash for clobber collection. So please start collecting all you unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, bed linen. Your club will gladly take them off your hands.
