DEBUT ALBUM: Local singer/songwriter Fergal Nash launches his debut Album “Take It Over” upstairs in Dolans, Dock Road, this Friday July 12, at 9pm. Son of John and Patricia from Curraghchase Fergal has a long and chequered history in music, playing in rock/metal band Nemesis at secondary school in Copsewood College Pallaskenry, before studying sound engineering in Dublin and setting up his own home studio where he recorded and produced this record over the last two years. Fergal has also happily contributed backing guitar to our local church choir here in Kilcornan. His music is best described as lively pop/rock guitar tunes along with some quieter acoustic numbers. He will be accompanied on the night on lead guitar by Co. Clare based Englishman Chris Wood. Support acts will also be performing. All parishioners are very welcome to attend. Entry is free at the door and the CD will be available to purchase at the gig. Finger food will also be provided.
