COMMUNITY GAMES GAELIC FOOTBALL U-10 MUNSTER CHAMPIONS: The Monaleen U-10 Football team put on a magnificent display of football to capture the Munster U-10 title which took place in Tralee last weekend and will now go forward to compete in the All Ireland finals on the weekend of August 17th/18th in Athlone.

To win the Munster title the team had to overcome the Clare champions Shannon, the Kerry champions Kilcummin and Tipperary side Ballina. All three games were hard fought and exciting right to the very end. Every single player made a big contribution over the course of the Limerick and Munster campaigns. The dedication and effort they have put in to perfecting their skills has reaped a massive reward.

The whole community are very proud of their achievement in following in the footsteps of the 2008 Monaleen team who also won the title.
