MURROE-BOHER GAA: Murroe-Boher Senior, Junior and Minor Teams were in action last week. The Junior team travelled to Mungret on Sunday recording a fine win over a skilful home team in their second round of the County Junior Hurling League. The Seniors made it two wins from two County Senior League appearances with a two point win (2.16 to 3.11) over Patrickswell at Boher. This game marked the return from an injury sustained last year of Murroe-Boher’s influential centre back Kevin Tobin who turned in a fine performance. On Friday the Minor team hosted Cappamore at Harty Park and recorded their second win from two championship outings so far. The Minors had to dig deep to recover from an early onslaught by the visitors who true to form took the game to the locals from the throw in. Murroe-Boher had recovered by the break to go in a goal in front and powered on to a comfortable 6.12 to 4.07 win on the hour.
