DATES FOR YOUR DIARY: Confirmation will be celebrated in St James Church Cappagh on the 14th May, 2013. First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Saturday 25th May 2013.

IRISH CLASSES:Ar mhaith le do pháiste/pháistí Gaeilge a fhoghlaim trí cluichí, cómhrá agus craic??

Would your child/children like to improve their oral Irish through games, chat and fun with children their own age?? Well now is your chance!! The next series of fun Irish language classes will commence in Kilbeha on Tuesday, April 16thth.

This class will cater for 3rd-6th class pupils and will be facilitated by Denise Lyons and will be run on a Tuesday evening 8-8.45pm or Wednesday evening 7-7.45pm. Cost is €50 for 6 weeks. If interested please contact 0872467022by call or text and state which day you would prefer. Please note: If required, additional classes may be provided to cater for larger numbers.

NANTENAN GRAVEYARD: The clean up of Nantenan Graveyard is started on last Monday night and will continue each Monday at 6pm. Grass cutting and a general tidy up. Help would be greatly appreciated from anyone who has graves in Nantenan.

SOCIAL CLUB: TheAlzheimer Society of Ireland hold a Social Club for people with dementia and their carer, in a supported environment, which takes place each Tuesday morning in the Woodfield House Hotel, between 11am and 1pm. There is no charge to attend and tea and coffee are provided. Please phone Mary at 061-313456if you would like to attend, or just call to Woodfield House Hotel on Tuesdays from 11am.

CAKE SALE: The Community Council in Cappagh is holding a Cake Sale (bring and buy) after evening Mass on Saturday 4 May and Sunday morning 5 May. We need to raise money to keep the Hall going for the future. You can contribute by baking cakes for us and by coming along to the Hall to buy the lovely cakes donated. Hall open Saturday from 5 to 6pm (before Mass) to drop off your cakes. If you want to bake but are away that weekend, give me a call and I will open the Hall for you on Friday evening to drop off cakes. 086 3007709 (Marianne).

TIDY TOWNS: Cappagh Community Council is regrettable not able to take part in the Tidy Towns Competition this year, due to the lack of committee members. If you are interested in getting involved in the Tidy Towns Competition, we are holding a meeting for anyone interested on Tuesday 7 May at 7.30pm in the Hall. Alternatively, give me a call on 086 3007709 (Marianne).

ANNUAL CLEAN UP: We would also advise that the annual clean-up of our roads is on-going at the moment. If you are doing the clean up in your area, please notethat all rubbish will be collected from outside the back of the Hall on 7 May. Please ensure all rubbish is safely bagged. Thank you.

COMMUNITY CRÈCHE: Cappagh Community Crèche are currently enrolling for Montessori 2013 there are limited spaces available so please contact Katie on 069-63758 to reserve your place.
