FRIENDS OF LIMERICK ’73: “Friends of Limerick are a recently formed committee with the aim of raising funds for Charity. The Charities we have chosen are Milford Care Center, MS Limerick and Lisnagry Association Limerick with all monies raised divided equally between the three Charities. With this idea in mind and this year 2013 being the 40th anniversary of Limerick’s last All Ireland Senior hurling title win, it is hoped with co--operation of the Players of that famous panel to get replica Limerick jerseys and hurleys autographed. The jerseys and hurleys will be auctioned and raffled. Friends of Limerick ‘73 will be launched in Moore’s Bar Doon on this Saturday, at 8.30pm, followed by table quiz at 9.30pm and all are welcome. We will be holding a number of other fundraisers over the coming months and would appreciate any sponsorship/spot prizes you could provide. More details will follow over the coming weeks.”
