FAMILY CARERS: Caring for Carers, Limerick branch in association with the H.S.E. are holding a “Caring in the Home Course” one evening per week for 12 consecutive Thursdays, commencing March 7 at 7.30pm to 9.30pm at St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West. CHOIR: We have had Coolcappa-Ardagh, Cappagh, Moyross, Meelick with Mass in R.T.E. with the local choirs. Time we had Rathkeale. We have some of the best singers in Rathkeale including our priests.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY: Rathkeale and District Historical Society next meeting Friday 8.30pm at the Community Arts Centre, Rathkeale. Anthony Sheehy will speak on the History of Askeaton Castle and Priory. All are welcome. Admission free.

COMMUNITY ARTS GROUP: The next screening of a movie will take place at the Art Centre in Rathkeale on Saturday, February 23.

Admission €5 for membership.

We are delighted to announce the next movie will be the 1952 comedy-drama film “Limelight”, staring, Charlie Chaplin, Claire Bloom, Buster Keaton and many more.

The theme to the movie is titled “Terry’s Theme” also known as the lovely “Eternally”.
