Country Market: Grange Residents Association are holding a Halloween Country Market in Grange Church Yard on Sunday October 27 from 12 noon to 4pm. Fun for all the family and games. All support would be much appreciated.
Exposition and Novena: Exposition and Novena continues in both churches in the parish as follows: Ballybricken: Novena at 7.30pm on Monday, Exposition on Tuesday, 3pm – 10pm; Bohermore: Exposition on Thursday, 5.30pm – 7.30pm. Due to the Pastoral course in the Millenium Centre Caherconlish for October there will be no Novena and Mass after the Exposition in Bohermore on Thursdays.
Confessions: Confessions in Ballybricken Church before the 7.30pm Mass every Saturday and in Bohermore before the Novena Mass on the First Thursday of every month.
GAA Lotto: Draw held on 13 October: There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn: 4, 18, 21 and 24. Lucky dip winners: Sarah O’Brien, Bernie Leonard, Margaret McMahon and Billy Lavelle. Jackpot is now €4,600. Table Quiz: Bohermore National School are holding their annual Table Quiz on the Friday 8 November in the Stroller, Ballyneety at 9pm. All welcome, great night in store: Tickets €5 and table of 4 €20. Raffle and Spot prizes on the night. All support greatly appreciated.
Lucozade Sports Crusade: The club is taking part in the “Lucozade Sports Crusade” and club members are asked to collect bottle caps from lucozade sports drinks bottles, these caps can be redeemed for sports goods. Full support and participation appreciated.
Fitness Classes: Fitness classes for all ages will commence November 7 at 8pm in the Ballybricken/Bohermore GAA Clubhouse. All are welcome.
Clothes Collection: Ballybicken/Bohermore GAA club will be holding a clothes collection on Saturday 9 November, more details will follow in the coming weeks.
Fund Raising Dance: There will be a 1960’s fund raising dance in Bulgaden Castle featuring Crystal swing and Old News (support band) on Friday night October 25 at 9.30pm. All proceeds go to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin. This is a most worthy cause so let your hair down, roll back the years and swing the night away as in the swinging sixties. Admission €10. All support would be greatly appreciated.
