Rambling House: A rambling house will be held at Monagea Parish Hall on this Friday night, October 25th at 8:30pm. Musicians, Singers, dancers and storytellers are welcome to perform. Since the rambling house started earlier this year there has been some very entertaining nights. We hope that there will be a good crowd of supporters to appreciate the talented performersd.
Monagea GAA Draw: The annual Monagea GAA “300 club” draw will start early in November. There will be four draws in total and all will take place before Christmas. The cost of entry is €50 in total . There will be €1900 on offer in each draw. The prizes are as follows €1000, €400, €200, 2 x €50. In addition there will be extra cash prizes in the first draw for those who pay in full at the start of the draw. The club are appealing for support for this draw as it is its major fundraiser each year.
80’s Party Fundraiser: The Brothers of Charity children’s services and Newcastle West Lions Club are holding an 80’s party night in the Courteney Lodge Hotel on Saturday November 2nd. The News will perform from 10pm to 12 midnight followed by a disco ‘til late. Your support would be very much appreciated. Tickets at €15 each are available from the home office shop
Great Ceili Night: West Limerick 102 FM are hosting a great ceili night on Friday November 22nd from 9:30pm in Knockaderry Community Centre. Music by Donie Nolan. Tea & Coffee being served on the night. Admission €10
New Macra Club: A new Macra club is being set up in Limerick to serve the areas of Templeglantine, Abbeyfeale, Mountcollins, Ballagh, Tournafulla, Monagea and surrounds. If you are living in or know anyone in the area aged 17-35 who would be interested in getting involved spread the word. Activities include everything from sports to social nights, drama and travel, agriculture, meeting people and lots more. There will be an information meeting in Templeglantine Community Hall on Thursday 24th October at 8:30pm. All are Welcome!
