Ceili: The next ceili in Halla Tadgh Gaelach, Tournafulla will be held on Friday, November 8th. Dancing will commence at 9.30pm to the music of the popular Allow Ceili Band. There will be refreshments available during the evening and all are welcome.

G.A.A. Lotto: The members drawn in last weeks Mountcollins / Tournafulla G.A.A. lotto were, 1, 9, 15 and 18. There was no winner of the jackpot prize. Lucky dip prizes went to Patrick Murphy, Mountcollins, Nuala Sheehy, C/o Kostal, Eugene Danaher, Duagh and Catriona Stack, Rockchapel. The winner of the promoters prize was John Lenihan. This weeks draw will be held in Keatings Bar, Mountcollins, where the jackpot will be 1,800 and your support is appreciated.

GAA Club: Mountcollins and Athea will unite under the Feale Rangers banner for the under 21 football championship. Their opening game will be played under lights this Friday night, October 25th at 8pm in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale. The Rangers side have been promoted to the premier grade and face a tough encounter against neighbouring rivals Fr. Caseys. The best of luck to the team and management and your support would be greatly appreciated.

GAA News: The under 21 footballers of Feale Rangers had a tough workout on Saturday with a win over Knocknagoshel in a challenge game. Well done also to Tournafulla U16 hurlers who won the County Shield final with a big win over Croom on Saturday.

Card Game: The new card game playing season in Mountcollins Community Centre will commence on Thursday night week, November 7th at 9pm. The games play an important role in the social life of many people as well as being an important fund raiser. All card players are welcome and the organisers are making a special appeal for more local support.

Annual General Meeting: The Annual General Meeting of the committee of Mountcollins Community Centre will be held on next Monday night, October 28th at 8pm and all members are requested to attend. New members are also welcome.

Feale Expo: All are welcome to visit the free expo which is being held by the Abbeyfeale Community Development Association on this Thursday night in the Fr. Caseys GAA Sports Complex from 7.30pm to 10pm. Entry is free and there will be many give-aways, discounts and vouchers, food and wine and entertainment on the night. There will also be a raffle for a weekend away as well as celebrity guests.

Halloween Disco: A children’s Halloween Disco will take place in the Community Centre, Mountcollins on Monday next October 29th. Admission will be €3 per child and all children are welcome.
