NATIONAL SCHOOL “HALLOWEEN” DISCO: The Parents Council of St Fergus National School will be holding a Fundraising National School Disco for much needed funds in aid of the School. The disco will take place in Ceol Corbrai on Friday 25 October from 7.30 to 9.30pm and is open to all National School pupils in the parish. Admission E5 per child and maximum of E10 per family. Tuck shop will be available in the hall that evening. Parents are asked to stay with children under 10 years and all others to be signed in by a parent/guardian. Parents must arrange to collect their children from inside the hall as children will not be allowed outside. Further information from annmanning@ymail.com or phone 0877951271. GLIN DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION: Glin Development is delighted to announce that Phil Coulter will perform at The Church of the Immaculate Conception on Friday 20 December. Tickets are now available in local shops or from any Glin Development Association member!

GLIN BABY AND TODDLER GROUP: again this year will be hosting a ‘Cheerio’s Childline Breakfast Halloween Party’ in Ceol Corbrai Hall from 10am-12noon. By hosting a Cheerio’s Childline Breakfast Halloween Party we are helping to make a measurable difference to the lives of children and young people in Ireland. Last year our breakfast morning was a great success with a wonderful amount of money raised for this worthy cause. There will be no entry fee but a donation box will be in place and we appreciate every penny. We hope to see you there and don’t forget it’s a Halloween Party!!! COURSING CLUB: Glin Coursing Club are having a fundraising night at the dogs at Tralee Greyhound Track on this Saturday 26 October. Make it a family night out. There will be entertainment for everybody, with bouncy castle and face painting for the children. Should be a great outing so don’t miss it!

GLIN COMHALTAS MUSIC CLASSES: under the direction of Willie Larkin continue every Friday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in Ceol Corbrai Community Hall.
