Harvest Day: Greybridge Classic Club held a very successful Charity Harvest Day on last Sunday. Dempsey’s was yet again a very suitable venue for the throngs of people attending. The massive array of Ford tractors of every age that had travelled from all over the country formed the Ford Logo and proved of great interest to all present. There were displays of silage cutting and demonstrations from the Emergency Services which was very popular. Children were enjoying the Bouncy Castles and other side shows. Food was being cooked all day and a great day out was had by all.
GAA Notes: Camogue Rovers recorded a good win over Galbally on last Sunday evening in the Junior B Football Championship. The final score was 1-11 to 0-4.
A very large crowd of local supporters are travelling to Dublin on Sunday to support Limerick in both the Minor and Senior Matches which are being played in Croke Park. Good wishes are sent to local boy, Paul Browne who is a member of the senior team and Sean Finn and Graham Whelan who are involved with the minors and all the other players who have given so much enjoyment to the entire County during the year.
