Group Water Scheme: On 12 April 2013 the Ballybricken Group Water Scheme held its AGM. On completion of the AGM an EGM was held. The motion to upgrade the BBGWS was discussed and approved by the shareholders at the meeting. The scheme will be in touch with all shareholders arising from the result of the meeting to implement the upgrade proposals.

GROW: GROW in Ireland (the Organisation which supports positive Mental Health) is holding an Information Morning in the Community Café, Bruff (beside the Catholic Church) on Friday 7 June from 10am to 12 noon. If you or anyone you care about is suffering from any kind of mental health issue, please come along to the Café, have a chat and a cuppa and hear about GROW in your area and how it may be able to support you through its weekly meetings.

Caherelly Kids Montessori: Caherelly Kids Montessori & After School are now taking names for September 2013 for Montessori including the free pre-school year and our After School Service. Exposition and Novena: Exposition and Novena continues in both churches in the parish as follows: Ballybricken: Novena at 7.30pm on Monday, Exposition on Tuesday, 3pm - 10pm; Bohermore: Exposition on Thursday, 5.30pm - 7.30pm and Novena at 7.30pm after Exposition.

GAA Lotto: Draw held on Monday May 27: There was no winner of the jackpot this week. Numbers drawn: 2, 6, 12 and 14. Lucky Dip winners: Gus Ryan, Helen O’Riordan, John O’Malley and Tom O’Rourke. Jackpot is now €2,600.

Draw held on Sunday June 2: There was no Lotto Jackpot winner this week. Numbers drawn were 2,5,19 & 24. Lucky Dip winners were Kevin Wilkinson, Eileen O’ Riordan. Mike O’ Dwyer (Jnr) & Denny Hourigan. GAA News: Our U14 Hurlers took on Granagh Ballingarry in the First round of the championship last week in Ballingarry. Our numbers were tight on the night and had to use a lot of our younger players to field a team. Credit to these players they all played their part in a good win for us. .

Dog Night: The Club is holding a Dog Night on Friday 28 June at Limerick Greyhound Stadium as a fundraising event. You can contribute to the club by: 1. Nominating a dog on the race card at €50 each (2 complimentary tickets included), 2. You can purchase tickets for the night at €10 each - Children are free on the night. Your continued support for the club is much appreciated. Pictures from a colouring competition in both Caherelly and Bohermore Schools will be on display on the night.

Fixtures: The Intermediate Hurlers play Glenroe in the County League on Saturday June 8 in Caherelly 7:30pm. Our Under 14 Hurlers play St. Pats on Wednesday June 12 in Caherelly at 7:00pm.
