LADIES WIN : St. Bridgid’s under 14 Ladies football team are county champions. In the 2013 decider at Caherelly they beat Monaleen in thrilling fashion by a single goal that came in the third minute of added time from the boot of Ciara Clancy. The final score was 4-3 to 2-6. Ashley Creamer was the winning captain. The victorious team – Tara Kavanagh, Nina Winship, Sarah Moroney, Chloe O’ Dwyer, Lucy Ryan, Ashley Creamer, Lauryn Fitzgerald, Emma O’ Brien, Katie Collins, Ciara Clancy 2-1, Keely Baggott 0-1, Ciara Erasmus, Nicole Kenny 0-1, Tara Rodgers 2-0, Michaela Howard, Jenny Doherty, Lisa Boyle, Rebecca Timmons, Molly Hickey, Martina O’ Regan, Elaine Murnane, Roisin Kelly. BORD NA NOG: Under 6,8,10 and 12 training every Thursday evening in Hospital from 6 t0 7. Under 6 and 8 hurling blitz on Friday in the GAA field versus Caherline, Bruree, Ballybricken and all are welcome to come along. The under 12 team had a great win over South Liberties in Herbertstown last Thursday. They played Kilteely last week, losing by a narrow margin.
