Social: There was a good attendance at our last social of the season in the Castletown Community Centre, on Tuesday May 28th. The usual game of Bingo took place, among the winners of the game were Mary Looby and Helen Carroll. Raffle winners included Joan Galvin, Sheila Carroll and Mary Cagney. The Dublin trip has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Any further news on day trips or overnight stays, we will let you know through these notes.

Before the end of the afternoon, Joan Galvin thanked everyone for making our socials so enjoyable during the past year, all who travelled with us on our day trips and overnight trips and I want to thank Joan, Ita and Mary for doing such a great job while I was away. I was visiting family in the USA but then again I knew things would go on as normal. Thanks again for your attendance and thank you to Michael O’ Mahony, who will continue to play our music. We hope to see all of you back in our Community Centre, the last Tuesday in September.

Ladies Club: The next meeting of Castletown Ladies Club will be held in the Community Centre on Tuesday, June 11th. Competition prize, ‘Bread Plate’

Best Wishes to all students sitting exams: On behalf on everyone associated with our club, just want to sincerely wish every student the very best of luck, that will be sitting the Junior or Leaving Certificate exams soon.

Who wants tickets for Limerick V Tipperary?: If anyone is interested in tickets for Limerick’s first intriguing outing in this year’s Hurling Championship against the mighty Tipperary, on Sunday 9thJune ’13 with throw in at 4 p.m. in the Gaelic grounds, can you all please contact our Senior Club Chairperson ~ Seanie Gilbert on his mobile ~ 087 666 6303 please.

Scrap Collection: Just want to sincerely thank anyone who have donated scrap to us to date this time, and it is very much appreciated. However, if anyone still has some final scrap to give to us, we now still have a wee bit more time so appreciate could you either drop this scrap to Ned Farrell’s yard please, or contact me directly and immediately ~ Tony Dillon 087 1267131 and objective is to turn this eyesore of unused unwanted scrap into cash for continued repayments of the field loan. And as always do appreciate everyone’s support and co~operation here, as every little bit really does help!

Supporting the Lotto: The Weekly lotto amount is now €4,000 this week, which is rising again, so appreciate can everyone continue to buy lotto tickets, and best of luck to all who buy a ticket(s) and also especially help support our club.

Limerick Development Draw: The Limerick Development Draw has started again so can I urge anyone still interested in joining this draw please contact Seanie Gilbert on 087 6666 303 (M) as soon as possible. Finally do appreciate all those who continue to support this draw and CTB GAA Club also benefit from some of the revenue generated from this draw.

Membership: All CTB GAA club membership fees still outstanding are due immediately.

Monster Bingo Event : Just to inform you that Castletown / Ballyagran GAA Club are planning another Monster Bingo Event on Wednesday Evening 12th June 2013 again, at the lovely Charleville Park Hotel which hosts a lovely warm and comfortable setting, and just the right atmosphere for playing bingo. First game will commence at 8.30 pm sharp, and the prize money is again a fantastic €4,000, spread over 11 games and the ‘special sheet’ game has prize money alone of €800 which is well worth winning and also the jackpot game worth a cool €500. Cost for 1 single book is €13, double book is €15, half book is €7, and special sheet only €3 (or 2 for €5). Also there will be a raffle held as well similar to last time, so once again can I urge you all to come along and tell and bring all your family, neighbours, friends, and anyone else interested as well please. Based on all positive feedback from last time it was a great night so can everyone please make a note in diary as is a great and entertaining way to spend an evening and you just might win as well. Juvenile Cul Summer Camp: Just to let you know that the Juvenile Cul Summer Camp, is on again this year, is really very enjoyable and beneficial to all involved, and is been held between Monday 15th July ’13 and Friday 19th July 2013 ~ so any parent interested for their children, please make a note in your diary’s.
