Good Friday – Day of Fast and Abstinence - Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 3pm & Stations of the Cross at 8pm. The Ministers of the Word are Brigid Ann Duggan and William Lyons. Speaker is Nora Neville and Intecessory Prayers by Sarah Barrett.
Holy Saturday – Easter Vigil with Blessing of the Paschal Fire at 9.00pm. The Ministers of the Word are Christina Morrissey, Niamh Foley, Seamus Madigan & Teresa Noonan.
Easter Sunday – Dawn Mass at 6.00am Cappagh Graveyard (weather permitting) & Easter Sunday Mass at 10.30am. The Ministers of the Word are Catherine Scanlon & Betty Morrissey.
LOURDES: The Lourdes Office is now open in the Social Service Centre, Henry St., Limerick Tel 061-314111. The fares for this year are as follows: pilgrims €699 and for an Invalid €599. This is inclusive of travel insurance. Invalid forms are available from the Lourdes Office. If anyone wishes to go on pilgrimage give your name in to the presbytery and you can avail of the weekly savings plan.
DATES FOR YOUR DIARY: Confirmation will be celebrated in St James Church Cappagh on the 14th May, 2013. First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Saturday 25th May 2013.
CAPPAGH CRECHE: Cappagh Creche are please to announce that they have extended their opening hours from 7am to 6.15pm, Monday to Friday.
They are also running Easter camps this year from 25-28 March and 2-5 April. We have both half days and full days available. Booking is essential on 069-63758
SOCIAL CLUB: The Alzheimer Society of Ireland hold a Social Club for people with dementia and their carer, in a supported environment, which takes place each Tuesday morning in the Woodfield House Hotel, between 11am and 1pm. There is no charge to attend and tea and coffee are provided. Please phone Mary at 061-313456 if you would like to attend, or just call to Woodfield House Hotel on Tuesdays from 11am.
