GLIN KNIGHTS CHARITY CYCLISTS: Saturday March 16 2013 was the official launch of “Glin Knights Charity Cyclists”. All members of this group have participated in numerous different charity cycles over the years. As well as taking great satisfaction in seeing different charities benefit from their involvement they have also enjoyed the comradery, team-spirit and health benefits that go hand-in-hand in training and partaking in such important community events. The local community spirit, which ignited these cyclists originally, was obvious once again when establishing the “Glin Knights Charity Cyclists”. We would like to thank Michael Regan for designing the crest, our sponsors Peugeot, Mitsubishi Motors, Adams of Glin, Limerick Live 95fm, Goggins Insurance Brokers Ltd., Rale Mc Coy Bar(Barretts), Day-Break, Costello’s Windows, Profile Development, Glin Grub and Glin GAA. Finally, a special thanks to Madam Fitzgerald. Our members are looking forward to participating under their official title “Glin Knights Charity Cyclists”. Glin’s Annual charity cycling event will take place on Aug 17 2013. All Welcome. If anyone is interested in joining the “Glin Knights Charity Cyclists” please contact Brian Cunningham, Shane Adams or Donie Shine.
