Bruff Camogie Club U14 : On Sunday morning Bruff played Murroe/Boher in Caherelly in their opening League game. Bruff dominated this game from the start and opened the scoring with a great point from play by Caoimhe. A long ball from centre field dropped into the Murroe/Boher goalmouth for Linda to make perfect contact to send the sliotar to the back of the net. At this stage Bruff were rampant and another point for Bruff saw us lead at half time Bruff 1-2 Murroe/Boher 0-0.The second half started with Murroe/Boher showing tremendous spirit and stayed very much in touch when their centre forward broke through the Bruff defense to send the sliotar to the back of the Bruff net for Murroe/Boher opening score. Bruff responded well with two goals from Katie and points from Caoimhe and Siobhan for Bruff to run out winners on a scoreline of Bruff 3-4 Murroe/Boher 1-0. Well done to all the girls and a great start to the league.
