CHRISTMAS: Many thanks to all who made Christmas decorations and Church celebrations so special for parishioners and visitors. A special word of thanks to those who decorated the church and grounds over the christmas period and who tidied up and put everything away afterwards. Thanks to Mary Murphy for decorating the church with beautiful flowers which she arranged and donated to the church. I want to extend thanks to all parishioners for their support of both the church expenses on a weekly basis. Those contribution help make Cappagh a warm, welcoming and comfortable place for everyone.
FR TED NIGHT: A Date with Mrs. Doyle for Valentines Fr. Ted Night is rescheduled for SaturdayFebruary 16 in Rathkeale House Hotel. Tickets are currently on sale for the Fr. Ted Dinner/Buffet. Tables will be available in groups of 8 and 10 and each group can decide who is going to be which character – Fr. Ted, Dougle, Mrs. Doyle etc. Competition on the night for straightest sandwich, tea pouring, best grace before meals. We will be looking for each table group to write a song for euro song and have it performed on the night. It will have to be up to the standard of “my little horse”, so get your creative thinking hats on. This should be a great night of fun and entertainment, so start gathering your group and book your table.
WATER SCHEME: Water meters are being read at the moment. As soon as that process is completed invoices will be issued. To make collections as easy as possible, please bring your invoiced amount to your nearest representative or to Tony Prendiville. All monies will be receipted. Please contact any member of the committee or your nearest representative if you have any query or to submit your payment.
