This year's Rose of Tralee contestants are a gorgeous bunch!
I WAS delighted to be invited back once again to Newbridge Silverware to meet some of the fabulous Rose contestants as they arrived in Ireland on their way to the Kingdom for the annual Rose of Tralee festival.

I WAS delighted to be invited back once again to Newbridge Silverware to meet some of the fabulous Rose contestants as they arrived in Ireland on their way to the Kingdom for the annual Rose of Tralee festival.

And what a very glamorous bunch of roses they are! I was privileged to give them some style tips ahead of their appearance on RTE. It was great to catch up with the lovely Daithi O’ Se who was again looking trim and slim and in great shape as he prepares to host RTE’s coverage of the two live shows. He was proud as punch telling me all about his beautiful new baby boy Micheal Og who was born on St Patrick’s Day. Of course The Holman Lee agency will be in full swing on Sunday night in the Dome for what is considered to be the biggest Autumn/Winter fashion event in the country.

If you are wondering what to wear for the season then this is one not to be missed!

DURING the week we headed to The Locke Bar having been invited by the fabulous Jackie Costello to the launch of the Carleton Varney book, Decorating in the Grand Manor.

Carleton is one of America’s best known interior designers and the book - which is available in O’ Mahony’s bookshop - contains beautiful photographs of Carleton’s exquisite designs.

It was great to meet a lot of familiar faces who unfortunately I don’t get a chance to meet as often as I would like because my work takes me out of the city so much, but that’s life and I make the very most of every event I attend in our beautiful city and county.
