Exercise Classes: Exercise classes resume in the Resource Centre in Loughill this Friday night 17th. January at 7.00 p.m.

Masses this Week: Mass will be celebrated in Ballyhahill Church Thursday and Friday mornings at 9.00 a.m. and on Sunday morning at 10.00 a.m.

Mass will be celebrated in Loughill Church Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 6.00 p.m.

Going Strong: The Going Strong Group thanked Mike Walsh and The Moohernagh Wren Boys for their generous donation from their day hunting the wren keeping alive an old tradition in our parish. The monthly get together will resume in February when the days are getting longer.

Set Dancing: The set dancing lessons continue in the hall in Ballyhahill every Monday night at 8.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

Stop it Nurse: Athea drama group presents a production of the comedy ‘Stop it Nurse’ by Sam Cree. Performances will take place in Con Colbert Memorial Hall in Athea on Thursday January 23rd, Sunday 26th, Thursday 30th, Saturday 1st. February and Sunday 2nd. February at 8.00 p.m. nightly. This play promises great laughs and it is suitable for all age groups. The show is set in the men’s surgical ward of a hospital which is run by a stern ward sister. This Play is directed by Theresa O’Halloran and critics say it is a play not to be missed!!

Afternoon Tea Dancing: The first of the afternoon tea dances for 2014 at Fr. Casey’s hall in Abbeyfeale will feature the music, songs and stories of Big Maggie on Sunday January 26th. Dancing from 3.00 to 6.00 p.m. Admission €5. Raffle and teas served. This is a fundraiser for West Limerick 102fm – our local community radio station. Please support.

Senior Citizen’s Party: The senior citizen’s party will be held in the hall in Ballyhahill this Sunday 19th. January. Dinner served at 1.30 p.m. All are welcome
