GAA: Galbally GAA club recently presented a cheque to TLF4CF after our bucket collection which took place a few weeks ago. The club would like to extend our thanks to all that helped in any manner. We much appreciate it. Well done to our u-21s who defeated Castletown Ballyagran in Kilfinnane on a score-line 1-7 to 1-4 in the South Final. Also well done to our U13s who had a great win in the Premier County Final against Mungret on the score-line 4-1 to 2-0. It was unfortunate that the two games clashed time wise. We are holding a table quiz in O’ Connells bar Galbally on Friday 15th November. Table of 4, €20. All support much appreciated. We are also holding a talent contest on January 25. Places are beginning to fill up, however we’re still looking for more, anybody interested, contact Mary Magner.
