Ballyhahill/Loughill Guild of the ICA: Ballyhahill/Loughill Guild of the ICA will hold their next meeting in the hall in Ballyhahill Tuesday night next 12th. November at 8.00 p.m. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Hospice Says Thanks: The sisters of The Little Company of Mary together with Milford Hospice Friends wish to thank most sincerely all those who contributed so generously towards the annual church gate collections at both Loughill and Ballyhahill churches last weekend. A special thanks to the collectors who braved the elements and gave so willingly of their time to do the collections. Amount collected was €475. Renewed thanks to everyone.

Rosary in Loughill Graveyard: Rosary will be recited in Loughill graveyard this Sunday 10th November at 3.00 p.m. for the holy souls. We had a good crowd last Sunday and again the weather was good to us. The day was mild and we had no rain so we hope to see good crowds for the next four Sundays.

Table Quiz: A Table quiz in aid of Gerald Griffin’s National School Loughill will be held on Sunday 17th November in the Anglers Rest in Loughill at 4.00 p.m. Table of four €20. All are welcome.

Set Dancing for Adults: Set dancing for adults continues in the hall in Ballyhahill every Monday night from 8.30 to 10.30. Everybody welcome.

Exercise Classes: Exercise classes continue in Loughill Resource Centre every Friday night from 7.00 – 8.00 p.m.

Afternoon Tea Dancing: Afternoon tea dancing has returned to Carrigkerry Community Centre every Sunday from 2.30 to 5.30 p.m.

Breast Cancer Awareness: There is a pink evening in Ballyhahill hall on Friday the 22nd. November . from 8.30 p.m. We will have table quiz, raffle, party games and food. Music and Dance: There is music and dance lessons for children in the Resource Centre in Loughill every Monday night from 8.00 to 9.00 p.m.

Concertina Lessons: There is concertina lessons for children and adults in Loughill Resource Centre every Tuesday night from 7.30 to 8.30. Everyone welcome.

Afternoon Tea Dance: One man band, Noel Cronin, provides the music for the Afternoon Tea Dance planned for Sunday November 10 from 3 – 6.00 p.m. at the GAA clubhouse, Abbeyfeale. This is a fundraiser for Abbeyfeale for Africa. Teas served and raffle also. Admission €5 only.

Pioneer Dance: The Limerick Diocesan Pioneers Fundraising Dance will be held in Mungret GAA Hall on Friday, November 8. Music by Dermot Lyons from 9.30pm- 12.30pm. Admission €10. Refreshments served. There is no West Limerick Region dinner dance this year. Please support the Diocesan Pioneers. Tickets can be obtained from Maureen Finnegan 087/ 9845102.

Grow Movement: Grow, the community mental health movement, meets on Thursdays at 8.00 pm in the Station Room in The Desmond Complex Newcastle West. The group offers support and friendship to people who may be experiencing difficulty in life. People who suffer from anxiety depression isolation, loneliness, shyness or find it difficult to communicate are most welcome to come along. No introductions necessary.

Fashion Show: There is a Gala Fashion Show in aid of the Invalid Section of Limerick Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes in the Devon Inn Hotel in Templeglantine this Wednesday night November 6 at 8.00 pm. Cheese and wine reception. Tickets €10 available at the door.

Craft Fair in Catherine McCauley School: The annual fair in aid of the Catherine McAuley school for people with special needs which takes place at Ashbourne Ave Limerick on Sunday, November 17 from 11 - 5.00 pm. Turn right at the Dock Road up by Mary Immaculate training college. Paintings, Ornaments, Aloe Vera Forever Living Products, Gifts, Handmade Cards, Jewellery, Plants, Tea Cosies, Woodturning, Cakes, Puddings and Jams. These are just some of the items available. Do your Christmas gift shopping and help our special children at the same time.

The Three Tenors: Declan Kelly, Ray O’Hare and Dominic McGorian will perform Christmas Favourites and Classic Hits from Sinatra, Leonard Cohen, The Dubliners, Pavarotti and more on Sunday, December 1st. at 8.00 p.m. in the Resource Centre, Knockaderry.
