Death: The death of Sean Fitzgerald at Corpus Christi nursing home Mitchelstown a native of Griston Ballylanders recalls his many associations with the local organisations. In his teens he was the first secretary of Macra Na Feirme when it was formed in 1946 under the guidance of the late Harry Spain who was the agricultural advisor at the time. Sympathy is extended to his wife Anne, brothers, sisters & extended family, relatives and friends.

Sympathy: is also extended to the family of the late Maura Howard Coolroe Mitchelstown on her passing away recently after a relatively short illness.

Pilgrimage : Annual Vincent De Paul pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Saturday September 14. Bus leaving Mitchelstown, travelling via Ballylanders approx. 730 am, with anyone wishing to travel please give your name in at the Post Office.

Chiropody : The chiropodist will attend the Day Care centre on this coming Monday September 2 at 2pm.
