What a super Summer 2013: Having enjoyed a surprisingly warm and sunny summer this year, its amazing that its almost coming to the end and there has been a great variety of fantastic events both in Ireland and in London. Keep the Green Flag flying proudly: It is with a tinge of sadness that our great GAA season came to an end in Croke Park last week with both our minor and senior teams bowing out of the All Ireland championship. it has certainly been a truly magical summer for the Shannonsiders and to that we extend our sincere thanks for the great moments of the 2013 championship. It is not every year that the boys in green win two Munster titles in the one season and we look forward to even greater exploits from our “Boys in Green” for 2014. Hurling has been given a new lease of life in Limerick and for that we will keep the green flag flying proudly! Luimneach Abu!
