DATES FOR YOUR DIARY: Confirmation will be celebrated in St James Church Cappagh on the 14th May, 2013. First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Saturday 25th May 2013.

IRISH CLASSES: Ar mhaith le do pháiste/pháistí Gaeilge a fhoghlaim trí cluichí, cómhrá agus craic??

Would your child/children like to improve their oral Irish through games, chat and fun with children their own age?? Well now is your chance!! The next series of fun Irish language classes will commence in Kilbeha on Tuesday, April 16thth.

This class will cater for 3rd-6th class pupils and will be facilitated by Denise Lyons and will be run on a Tuesday evening 8-8.45pm or Wednesday evening 7-7.45pm. Cost is €50 for 6 weeks. HISTORICAL SOCIETIES: The Kenry Historical Society invites you to a tour conducted by Br. John Feheney on this Sunday April 7, at 3pm. Meet at Castletown Church, near Pallaskenry.

The Adare History Society is hosting a talk by a local historian on ‘ The Curfew in Shantraud in 1921’at the Heritage Centre, rear entrance 8.30pm on Tuesday next April 9.

SOCIAL CLUB: TheAlzheimer Society of Ireland hold a Social Club for people with dementia and their carer, in a supported environment, which takes place each Tuesday morning in the Woodfield House Hotel, between 11am and 1pm. There is no charge to attend and tea and coffee are provided. Please phone Mary at 061-313456 if you would like to attend, or just call to Woodfield House Hotel on Tuesdays from 11am.

BANTRACHT NA TUAITHE: Kilcornan Community Hall is the venue for the Drama Finals between Ballyhahill/Loughill and Cappamore on Friday next April 12 commencing 8.15pm approx.

SET DANCERS: Pallaskenry ICA set dancers will then give a demonstration of their skills. Information on ICA will also be available and the possibility of setting up a new guild in Kilcornan discussed. Everybody welcome .Bí Linn agus Fáilte.

COMMUNITY CRECHE: Cappagh Community Creche are currently enrolling for Montessori 2013 there are limited spaces available so please contact Katie on 069-63758 to reserve your place.

We also have a clothes collection this Friday 12th April. Please bag all unwanted clothes, shoes, belts, handbags and household textiles and leave them in the crèche lobby. This is an important fundraising activity for the crèche as we receive rebates for clothes / phones etc.

TEA DANCE: West Limerick 102fm will hold a Tea Dance on Sunday April 14th in Fr. Casey’s Abbeyfeale 3pm -6pm Music by Moss’s Road Show. All are welcome.

ALONE WE STAND: A social evening for everyone who is seperated, divorced, widowed, single and over 40 will be held on this Friday 5 April at 8.30pm in The Spotted Dog lounge bar, Janesboro, Limerick.
