LADIES CLUB: Monday evening April 15th, the local Ladies Club will have a meeting in the Community Centre at 8pm in attendance will be Anne Marie Egan of Horizon Designs all are welcome.

WEATHER: The cold snap continued over the past week, there was no growth as strong easterly winds and night frosts are causing havoc. Fodder for cattle is very scarce, but the ground has dried up allowing machines to operate and gardeners to work the soil.

BEREAVEMENT: Sympathy is extended to Mrs Ester O’ Riordan and family of Ballinahoun on the recent death of her father, Paddy Tobin of Martinstown.

WALKS: Ballyhoura Bears have an evening walk on this Thursday from Glenanaar car park at 7.30 contact 086-409 1351.

On Saturday April 13th “C” walkers meet outside Ardpatrick Community Centre at 11 am.

On Sunday 14th the “A” walk starts from Kilfinane at 11 am, about 5 hours walking, contact 087-656 9224.

The “B” walk on Sunday is also from Kilfinane at 11am, about 4 hours, contact 087-203 3456.
