BEREAVEMENT: The death of Chrissie Conway, Herbertstown last week was deeply regretted in the district. She was a well known and popular lady who lived across from the church. In late years she lived in Cashel with her daughter Anne. Her funeral Mass was in Herbertstown church and interment in Ballinard cemetery. She is survived by her son Michael and daughters Anne and Mary.

CONCERT: On Sunday April 21 at 8.00 pm, Caherconlish will have the honour of welcoming Fr. Liam Lawton as he performs in concert in Our Lady of Mother Church . Fr. Liam will be joined by local artistes, adult and youth choirs under the direction of Valerie Walsh. This concert is being organised by the Caherconlish Pastoral Council. LADIES FOOTBALL: St. Bridgid’s under 16 team had a great start to the season with a 6-12 to 2-1 win over St.Ailbes’s in the league.

PRESENTATION: A presentation will be made to Milford Hospice in the Arch Bar, Herbertstown on this Friday 12th at 9.30. The proceeds of a fundraiser held on St. Stephen’s Day will be handed over. All are welcome.

COLLECTON: Herbertstown school parents association are holding a bag clothes, bed linen, mobile phone collection on Tuesday April 16 from 9am to noon. Please leave bags at the school and support appreciated.
