DEATH: We offer our sincere sympathy to Michael Finnegan of the Village and to Mrs Tess Keating, Ballycommane and to Bath Finnegan on the death of their father and brother respectively. The late Jimmy Finnegan, son of Michael and Nancy (nee Harnett) of Caherlevoy, Mountcollins and Templeglantine was a well known member of a very popular and highly regarded local family. Jimmy joined the ranks of Limerick County Council on April 1, 1968 and for the next thirty years was employed as a lorry driver with the council. He often regaled his colleagues with great yarns and had a very hearty laugh. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
