KNOCKAINEY AFC: U13 First Division Shield: Knockainey 5 Castle Utd 2. The under 13’s had a very good win in the league when they played Castle Utd last Saturday morning. Knockainey and Castle Utd put in a performance full of skill and determination. Knockainey started off well hoping to keep their 100% record in the league, but Castle Utd were not willing to let Knockainey have things all their own way.

Squad: Darragh O’Connell, Conor Byrne, Darragh Cunningham, Cathal Kirby, Cian Englishby, Kieran Mallory, Alan Buckley, William Carroll, Brian Dooley, Dean Burke, Patrick Reale, James Frape & Christian O’Connell.

There is a new format to the Under 10 league. There is now a requirement for an official referee to officiate over all under 10 games so we now have to travel into University of Limerick on alternative Saturdays for three weeks, we will play two games each week and we will then be finished our league after three visits.

Eoghan O’Donnell and Martin Hickey will give full details to the effected children and parents at a later date. Our first fixture is 2nd February.
