A DAY at the races has to be one of the most stylish events you can attend!
Amanda Byram was guest of honour at the official launch party for the 2015 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby which took place at rooftop in The Marker hotel in Dublin.
This year marks the 150th running of Ireland’s most iconic race and guests gathered to celebrate the history, the horses and of course the style! As the official style ambassador for The Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, Amanda Byram, TV presenter showcased the very best of racing style wearing a stunning dress by Irish designer Umit Kutluk and fine jewellery by Boodles.
Guests on the evening included Sinead El Sibai, vice president of marketing at Dubai Duty Free, Paul Hensey, general manager of The Curragh, Rhona Fitzpatrick from Boodles and Orla Brandon and Trisha Feely of Diageo. The style set were out in force with Irish model Madeline Mulqueen, stylists Cathy O’Connor, and Laura Mullett in attendance as well as Irish designers Martha Lynn, Keira and Dairine Kennedy, Mark T Burke, and Heidi Higgins. Many of Ireland’s top trainers and jockeys were also there including champion jockey Pat Smullen and his wife Frances Crowley.
Melanie Morris, IMAGE Magazine editor-in-chief spoke about what she will be looking for when judging the most stylish lady competition on Derby Day, Saturday, June 27.
