Galbally Dec 7

GALBALLY COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE ASSOCIATION: Some good news as two of our staff Tommy Davern and Joe Bourke have taken up fulltime jobs at the Aldi warehouse in Mitchelstown. We wish them well, both were excellent workers on our team. We are delighted to welcome on board three people who have started recently, Theresa Mcdonnell (housekeeper), Pat Cleary and Keven Whyte. This brings our numbers on the scheme to seventeen plus the supervisor. At a recent meeting of our company directors it was decided unanimously to apply for four more workers to bring out numbers up to 21 which was the number we were given when we first got the scheme. Tim Ryan our tidy towns supremo has lots of work lined up for the winter and spring months. We will be doing some preparatory work at Duntrileague graveyard as time and work allows. Jonny O’Reilly and Andrew Cunningham have just completed a lovely new flowerbed at the entrance to the Castlecreagh road, while remaining staff have carried out a big clean up on the Tipperary road while at the same time keeping the leaves cleaned up and the litter under control
